Rapid Biodiversity Assessment in the mid-hills

The Dudhpokhari forest, a vital ecological corridor in Nepal’s mid-hills, remains largely unexplored. Our project aims to:

  • Document Biodiversity: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the forest’s diverse wildlife, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and butterflies.
  • Community Engagement: Share our findings with local communities and policymakers to raise awareness about the forest’s ecological importance.
  • Conservation Advocacy: Advocate for the protection and sustainable management of the Dudhpokhari forest.

By shedding light on this hidden gem, we hope to inspire conservation efforts and ensure the preservation of this unique ecosystem.
