Initiating community conservation in the Trijuga forest

The Trijuga Forest, a vital wildlife corridor in Nepal, is facing increasing threats from human-wildlife conflict and habitat loss. Our project aims to address these challenges by:

  • Community Engagement: Empowering local communities to become active participants in wildlife conservation.
  • Wildlife Monitoring: Conducting camera trap surveys to assess wildlife diversity and distribution.
  • Capacity Building: Training local communities in wildlife monitoring and conflict mitigation techniques.
  • Sustainable Forest Management: Promoting sustainable forest practices that balance human needs and wildlife conservation.

By working closely with local communities, we strive to create a harmonious coexistence between people and wildlife in the Trijuga Forest in Udayapur.
